New Clinical Trials from Colorado State University's College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences have been released. The American College is the process of making regional nerve blocks part of the residency curriculum requirements and it is believed that this is a pivotal step towards wider spread, longer term utilization of ultrasound guided techniques.

Here we look at two studies which highlight not only the cost benefit, but also the benefit to the animal of ultrasound guided regional nerve blocks.
